Terraplas USA and AEG Facilities have joined forces to supply the turf protection cover systems for the Tornado Relief Concert at the University of Oklahoma on July 6th. The concert is hosted by Moore, Oklahoma native Toby Keith, along with a lot of his friends including Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Willy Nelson. Terraplas USA is providing the drivable roadway, TerraTrak Plus, around the stage area from its warehouse in Cleveland, OH while AEG is providing its patron seating cover system TerraFlor from their MLS soccer stadium in Carson, California.

Kyle Waters, a native of Oklahoma, is the Assistant GM for Stub Hub Center (formally Home Depot Center in Carson, CA) and he was a student at Oklahoma State U in Stillwater when a massive F5 tornado hit Moore in 1999. Mike Beane, the CEO of Terraplas USA and a Texan,  has a daughter who was a senior at OU in 1999 and she narrowly escaped injury in the same tragic event. Both Kyle and Mike  are emotionally involved in the events that unfolded in Oklahoma only a few weeks ago, so when Jeff Salmond, the turf manager at the University of Oklahoma called for their help with the benefit concert, they were pleased to donate their company’s resources and manpower where possible to provide the highest level of protection available for the turf at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Justin King, a senior Site Manager for Terraplas USA coordinated the install and removal of the turf protection system for the event.
